Flower Face has dropped a great new track with a music video inspired by video games of the early 2000s. ‘Sugar Water’ kicks in with a delicate guitar work and thick, static basslines and a punchy drum kit. The melancholic artist soon takes centre stage with her airy vocal singing dark, exploratory melodies. She explains that the track is about “being completely infatuated with someone, to the point where you're in too deep but you don't care because everything is so exciting and colourful and beautiful.” Sugar Water is getting ready to drop her album, The Shark In Your Water, on May 27^th, 2022. -Dan Peeke
